Hi, I’m John, a father of three and a coach with over a decade of experience in the fitness industry. In that time, I’ve racked up over 10,000 hours of coaching on the gym floor—because before you can coach people online, you need to actually coach people.
Unlike many in the online space, my passion isn’t just creating content—it’s coaching. The fitness industry is wildly unregulated, and while there are plenty of great influencers, coaching is a completely different skill. It’s about understanding people, meeting them where they’re at, and giving them practical, real-world solutions—especially when you’re juggling work, family, and everything else life throws at you.
Before stepping into fitness full-time, I spent 10 years in the corporate world as an HR manager. That experience—dealing with stress, long hours, and the realities of modern work-life balance—only makes me a better coach today. I know what it’s like to have a busy schedule, to feel drained after work, and to struggle to make fitness a priority.
I started with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from UL, but my real passion led me to later earn a degree in Strength & Conditioning. For the past eight years, I’ve been running Fitz Fitness, a gym dedicated to small group personal training for adults 35+—people who want to be stronger, leaner, and healthier without the nonsense of traditional commercial gyms.
Now, I’m bringing that same no-BS, results-driven coaching to busy dads online. Because the truth is, there’s too much misinformation out there—fad diets, unrealistic plans, and coaches who don’t understand what it’s like to be in your shoes. @mac_gabhann dropped 8kg (17 pounds) in 12 weeks. It’s hard to believe, but Paul is hitting 50 next month, and his goal was to get into shape before his birthday. I think we can all agree he has achieved his goal and then some 💯.

“My name is Paddy, I am Dad of three aged 2, 4 and 6 years respectively. I own and run my own SME so you can imagine both home life and work life is hectic.
